Photos of welded mounts are to show finished product. You must weld them.
The Noble Speed U-fab motor mount is super quick, clean and easy to fabricate. Simply bend the legs 90* by hand and weld the seams that's it. I spaced the gaps for perfect weld penetration. Both mounts can be fabricated in around 30 minutes. Sold as a pair.
I added a back wall to the mount. This is missing when you just use box tubing. This enables you to rosette weld the mount to the frame for added strength. The holes can also be used for 3/8 bolts to bolt the mount in I’d also recommend bolting them in from the top of the rail if you are not welding them in.
You can easily modify them by removing the back wall and shorten the mount if need be for some application and weld the wall back in or leave it out. So they are very versatile.
Perfect for AV8 set ups, but can be used universally with flathead style motor mounts
4.500 inches long
3-1/6 inches wide
2-1/6 inches tall
1.500 inch center hole
Tips:
-use a square off the top face for the three legs
-tack weld the legs at the corners
-tack weld on the inside of the front edge this will help not burn the leading edge weld towards it from the back. after you tack from the back side you can cut through with a cut off wheel the forward bend support and weld straight through without having to stop. optional.
