(please allow 1 week lead time)I wanted to motorize my Eastwood bead roller and like you probably saw a duo on YouTube. I wasn't confident welding the mystery metal coupler, and it looked like reusing the sub plate that it came with it was going to be more trouble than it was worth. So down the rabbit hole I went. I came up with this kit made one for myself, and here it is for you. Super simple and takes all the BS out of this conversion. I know we are all doing this to save $ ... I promise the cost of the kit is worth savings in time and aggravation. You can have the motor coupled and mounted in 45 min!! Cut the spool, drill two 1/4in holes, draw the knurled carriage bolts through, bolt on hub/ coupling to spool, two bolts on the motor to mounting plate and two bolts to bead roller frame. done. This what I used: I know the plate fits this winch.
